YANTALO ADELINA SOPLIN CLINIC
(CLÍNICA "ADELINA SOPLIN" YANTALO)
A sustainably designed, state of the art, and international volunteer-run hospital, which provides healthcare for all, regardless of their ability to pay.
The Clinic serves all the people of the region—regardless of their ability to pay—while also serving as a learning center for medical students and physicians. International & Peruvian students, physicians, dentists and other health care professionals examine and treat patients, who otherwise have no access to proper medical attention. Rotating volunteer medical missions make trips to Yantalo every year, providing care not otherwise available in the area.
The Faculty, students and professional friends of the NewSchool of Architecture and Design in San Diego, CA, donated their time and expertise to the Foundation. Students Gina Cangialosi and Lauren Garza designed the architectural plans of the clinic.
State of the Clinic:
Pharmacy has been approved.
We have general surgeons available for follow-up care after volunteer visits.
Dec 2019, we are in the process of approval for a blood storage for transfusion so we can move forward with our application for re-categorization.
